| Job Description |

ob Purpose
To provide efficient and effective administrative support to all functions within the CFS with a view to ensuring the smooth functioning of all office and related facilities
To provide support to Industrial Relations Manager on all matters pertaining to Contract Labour at Dronagiri
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Administration:
1. Liaise with CIDCO, JNPT, and other Government and Semi-Government bodies on all administrative matters and ensure that approval for telephones, water supply, electricity, etc. are obtained without any delay.
2. Ensure and monitor that the office premises are clean and well maintained at all times; to ensure that contractors appointed for such tasks are monitored on a regular basis.
3. To ensure upkeep and maintenance of office equipment, appliances etc. by monitoring warranties and annual maintenance contracts.
4. To be responsible for Company vehicles and ensure that they are utilized efficiently and optimally. Ensure that all records on insurance, registration, tax etc. are upto date.
5. Liaise with Contractors for annual contracts of services provided like Pest Control, electricity, plumbing, housekeeping, etc.
6. Monitor overtime of drivers and ensure their optimal time utilization.
7. Monitor the Staff Canteen and ensure ongoing improvements.
8. Insurances other than operational insurances.
Industrial Relations:
1. Assist Industrial Relations Manager in ensuring that Workmen's Compensation and Personal Accident Acts are complied with.
2. Monitor the salaries Register of all Contractors and ensure that Contractors pay the Labour their dues as per the Agreement. Exceptions to be reported to Industrial Relations Manager.
3. Ensure that Contractors comply with Payment of Provident Fund and that all copies of Challans are filed with Industrial Relations Manager.
4. Obtain information of wages paid by local competition, i.e. CWC, and provide this data to Industrial Relations Manager.
5. Regularly check attendance records of contract staff and suggest remedial action in case of absenteeism. Assist Industrial Relations Manager in disciplinary action matters, i.e. issuance of warning letters and conducting enquiries.
6. Assist Industrial Relations Manager in welfare activities for contract labour i.e. canteen matters, attire, etc.
7. Liaise with Police authorities regarding lodging of complaints on all matters, interalia accidents, pilferage and general Law and Order. |
