| Job Description |

Job Purpose :
To monitor and ensure that operational systems and procedures are followed and implemented by others with a view to maintaining operational efficiency of export operations.
Key Areas of Responsibility :
a)Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on warehouse operations and submit to the Reporting officer.
b)Monitor and verify status of payments for carting from CHA/Forwarders before acceptance of cargo.
c)Monitor competence and performance of day-to-day operational activities by contract employees.
d)Provide data and arrange inputs for preparation of bills.
e)Attend to and resolve routine queries from customers.
f)Maintaining liaison and excellent relations with shippers and Customs staff at CFS.
g)Supervise/control any unfair practice pertaining to export operations.
h)Ensure high operational standards at optimal cost efficiency.
i)Comply with all and any instructions prescribed by Customs and Port authorities in terms of stuffing and movement of all export containers.
j)To provide a value added service by ensuring that all export containers are stuffed and moved latest within 8 hours of receipt of stuffing documents. |
