| Job Description |

As an Assistant Manager ? Indirect Tax based at Mumbai your Job Responsibilities include the following:
~ Work with a team of indirect tax professionals and work on indirect tax solutions for large business houses
~ Participate in planning, developing and implementing indirect strategies to minimize taxes
~ Provide indirect tax advice, compliance and consultancy services across a range of indirect tax matters and industries.
~ Analyses problems, identify core issues, investigate, evaluate and integrate information
~ Research technical issues and present findings effectively
~ Assist with business development initiatives on target accounts, contributing to winning new work
~ Input into development of new market opportunities locally and nationally with an opportunity to lead the market development of the new ideas
~ Maintain quality control on assignments and projects
~ Develop strong client relationships
~ Preparing all advice to be provided to the client for the manager to review
~ Contributing to enhancement of relationships with targets and clients
~ Identifying cross service line opportunities
~ Assisting with the developing less experienced staff with hands on advice and support
~ Contributing to existing team spirit and ensuring coming to work is fun

| Candidate Profile |

~ CA / MBA / CS / LLB with 1 to 3 years of experience in Indirect Tax
~ Good Knowledge of Customs, Excise, Service Tax and VAT
~ Good drafting and interpersonal skills
~ Consulting background preferred
~ A proven track record with handling indirect tax issues, regulations, disputes, audits and rulings is preferred.
~ Excellent research skills, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills required
~ Excellent client facing, relationship building and business development skills, coupled with commercial awareness
