As a Customer Support Representative I, you provide entry-level customer support to NetApp customers seeking support on services, products, and sales. You will work closely with Technical Support Engineers, and cross-functional teams to support customer needs. Must be a customer focused person who is self motivated, friendly and has a passion to solve client issues in an efficient and effective manner.
Essential Functions:
Customer Support Representatives (CSR's) have overall responsibility for opening and managing customer support cases, processing parts orders, dispatching for on-site services, processing autosupports, and managing other non-technical areas of support. Specific tasks include:
- Answer, log and resolve Warranty customer problems via the telephone, web and Autosupport.
- Make decisions on where to dispatch parts from and whether or not to allow uplifted service requests.
- Escalate cases to other more senior Customer Service Representatives and/or Management when appropriate.
- Build customer service skills through experience; build knowledge of department's processes by attending classes, self study, working with peers, and CBT's.
- Some opportunity after gaining experience, to work on small volumes of Top Enterprise Accounts (NetApp's highest priority customers) and SupportEdge Premium cases (customers with a higher level of support agreement).
Education & Experience:- 2 or more years of experience in a fast paced, customer-facing environment- 2 or 4 year college degree preferred. Qualifications: Requirements:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills are needed in order work successfully with customers in high stress and or ambiguous situations.
- Knowledge of department geography, customer install base entitlement, and part number identification, as needed for parts dispatch decisions.
- Ability to use multiple computer applications in a Windows environment and move from one application to another quickly and seamlessly. |
